What will be the changes which will be brought about by the coming storm in India?

I submit that the ongoing parliamentary elections of 2024 has triggered off a process which will in course of time lead to great fundamental changes in Indian society.

After a 10 year period of attempted ‘saffronisation’ of all institutions in India, and attempts to massively polarise society on religious lines, a reaction has started, following the dictum ” You can fool some people all the time, and all people for some time, but not all the people all the time ”.

The winds of change can be felt by all, and I have related it in these articles about the ongoing parliamentary elections.

india politicsWhat will be the changes which will be brought about by the coming storm in India, how will it come about, how much time will the process take, who will be our patriotic leaders who will lead the people in the historical people’s struggle for attaining the goal of giving our people decent lives, etc—these are questions whose answers no one can accurately predict.

However, it can be broadly said that after a long, historical people’s struggle, in which tremendous sacrifices will have to be made, there will come about a radical transformation of our present backward, semi-feudal, largely casteist and communal Indian society and the creation in its stead of a modern, highly industrialised society, with our people having modern mindsets and enjoying a high standard of living

Akbar Allahabadi

A broad idea about this coming historical transformation can be conceived and visualised from reading these verses of the great Urdu poet Akbar Allahabadi ( 1846-1921):

Ye maujuda tareeqe rahi-e-mulk-e-adam honge
Nai tehzeeb hogi aur naye saaman baham honge
Khilenge aur hi gul zamzame bulbul ke kam honge
Aqaed par qayamat aaegi tarmeem-e-millat se
Naya kaba banega maghribi putle sanam honge
Bahut honge mughanni naghma-e-taqlid europe ke
Magar bejod honge is liye be-tal-o-sam honge
Hamari istelahon se zaban na-ashna hogi
Lughat-e-maghribi bazaar ki bhasha se zam honge
Badal jaega meyar-e-sharafat chashm-e-duniya mein
Zyaada the jo apne zoam mein wo sab se kam honge
Guzishta azmaton ke tazkire bhi rah na jaenge
Kitabon hi mein dafn afsana-e-jah-o-hasham honge
Kisi ko is taghayyur ka na his hoga na gham hoga
Hue jis saz se paida usi ke zer-o-bam honge
Tumhein is inqilaab-e-dehr ka kya gham hai ai ‘akbar’
