For the last 100 or so hours, we’ve been dreading exactly something like this. It’s just that we didn’t know how will it play out? Will the Oxygen run out? Will a cylinder turn out to be empty? Will they end up administering industrial oxygen to someone? Will a fire…? Will…?
And then this.
Do not make a mistake. It could have been your town. These could have been your loved ones. It could have been you.
If your politician has not taken up this issue in the last few days, if your local politician does not have the facts, data, statistics about number of patients, beds, ventilators, hospital charges, oxygen availability on their tips, then he or she does not care about you.
You know this for a fact.
It is high time you said it to yourself. Disabuse yourself of this blind love for one or the other politician.
Do not be a blind follower of anyone. They are neither Hindu Hridaya Samrat, nor anti-corruption warriors, nor progressive by any means.
YOUR CONCERNS SHOULD BE HEALTH, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT. Not Nehru, communists or socialism.
